Come and be a part of AMSA's Annual Surf Fishing Tournament held during the month of October on Assateague Island.

There will be $3,500 in prize money plus other prizes awarded!

Contest Dates: Year Round: Begin November 1, End October 31. Trophies will be awarded for the largest fish caught in each species. Awards are presented at the Annual meeting.

A photograph of the fish with a tape measure marking the length must be taken. the time of the catch and date the fish was caught must be written on the Polaroid picture as well as the signature of two witnesses. These witnesses must accompany the person who caught the fish to Buck’s Place within six (6) hours of catching the fish.

Contest is for members in good standing. All fish must be caught in the surf on Assateague Island, Maryland or Virginia.
