SAFETY PATROL - CHRIS PITTAS ORGANIZES AND COORDINATES A STRUCTURED PLAN FOR ASSURING PERSONAL SAFETY DURING BEACH CLEAN UPS, CAMPOREE AND OTHER MANNED SERVICES REQUIRED FOR AMSA EVENTS. THESE WILL BE THE “GO TO” PEOPLE AT AMSA EVENTS.
MERCHANDISE/WEB STORE - BILL JUSTICE JR. MAINTAINS CONTRACTS WITH SUPPLIERS, APPROPRIATE MERCHANDISE LEVELS AND DETERMINES REPLENISHMENT OF MERCHANDISE IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMMITTEE BUDGETS. ALSO REPORTS INCOME AND EXPENSES MONTHLY TO THE BUDGET COMMITTEE.
WAYS AND MEANS - TBD COLLABORATES WITH THE BOARD ON CURRENT FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES, IMPROVE CURRENT EVENTS, PLAN NEW EVENTS, & OTHER PROJECTS THAT WILL BENEFIT THE CLUBS BUDGET.
TECHNICAL - BILL JUSTICE JR. RESPONSIBLE FOR MODERATING THE AMSA WEBSITE & FACEBOOK PAGE AND COLLABORATES WITH THE BOARD FOR INPUT ON NEW CONTENT & TECHNOLOGIES TO BE IMPLEMENTED AND/OR REMOVED.
SCHOLARSHIP - BEVERLY FLEMMING RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLABORATING WITH BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO SELECT A RECIPIENT FOR SCHOLARSHIP UP TO $1000 TO AN ELIGIBLE CANDIDATE THAT MUST BE USED THE FOLLOWING YEAR TO AN ATTENDING COLLEGE.
SOCIAL EVENTS - PAT TOWNSEND & MATT WILKINS RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLABORATING WITH BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO DETERMINE THE COURSE OF DIRECTION FOR NEW AND EXISTING EVENTS WITHIN THE CLUB, INCLUDING CAMPOREE.
NOMINATING - ALAN MESSICK RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING MEMBERSHIP TO DETERMINE INTEREST IN JOINING THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. WILL ALSO TALLY VOTES IN THE EVENT OF ELECTION YEARS.
CHAPLIN - ALAN MESSICK RESPONSIBLE FOR OFFERING MEMBERS SPIRITUAL SUPPORT AND LEADING THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN PRAYER BEFORE CALLING THE MEETING TO ORDER.

UnderstandS AMSA Bylaws and workS to ensure consistent adherence and report anY variances THAT DETOUR FROM ORIGINAL BYLAWS. WorkS to make appropriate changes as necessary to close gaps in bylaws and remove ambiguity. UnderstandS Roberts Rules of Order and haS A copy ready to address questions SHOULD THEY arise.

Take a Kid Fishing – WorkS with naTIONAL pARK sERVICE to coordinate the “Take a Kid Fishing” event promoting AMSA AND ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN PROPER SURF-FISHING TECHNIQUES TO CHILDREN AGES 5 - 17.
Annual "Ronald Bounds" Fishing Tournament – OrganizeS and coordinateS all eNTRIES ASSOCIATED with THIS event focusing on increasing participation IN SURF fISHING, revenue FOR THE ORGANIZATION, decreasing costs and positively promoting THE ORGANIZATION.
AMSA All Year Tournament - Members weigh in their catches to approved weigh stations or enter them online will all required entry information, WHICH is NOTED ON THE "TOURNAMENTS TAB". Award is given at the END OF THE YEAR to the WinNER.

CoordinateS all activities related to obtaining advertising to pay for THE AMSA YEARLY handbook, locateS publisher, and COLLABORATES with membership secretary, bylaws and legislative committee’s to produce THE AMSA YEARLY handbook.

COLLABORATES and organizes events for junior membership to partiCIpate in during the course of the year.
LEGISLATIVE - prESIDENT & vICE pRESIDENT
MonitorS activitY related to access that may prevent vehicle access to Assateague Island nATIONAL sEASHORE. ReportS all findingS to THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS promptly with DETAILED action plan. COLLABORATE with NATIONAL PARK SERVICE to maintain open LINE OF communication between amsa CONCERNING asSATEAGUE iSLAND WHICH IS THEN DISPERSED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC and Assateague Island National Seashore. WorkS with appropriate government entities and Representatives as needed. Be single point of contact for the NPS and all legal actions.
